How do the leaders of tomorrow learn leadership? Mostly by copying and pasting the leadership behavior of their own bosses. The relevant management literature and the content of business administration courses also manifest leadership behavior that is rooted in the last century and simply no longer meets today’s challenges. Here we deal with the findings of neuroscience on leadership and motivation of people as well as the still new consideration of System Value, i.e. the inclusion of society and the environment and the ethical basis of our responsibility in our own decisions. The task of tomorrow’s managers is more complex, because they have to use their brain, heart and backbone to “move other people to succeed”. On the other hand, the job is also becoming “easier” if it is not carried out against but in harmony with human nature and the wonderful web of life.

More success with Emotional Intelligence

Google has identified EQ, i.e. Emotional Intelligence, as one of the six key competencies of its management personnel. In fact, authoritarian bosses without empathy are clearly on the retreat. However, those who want to win in the “battle for the best minds” are investing specifically in the development of the emotional competence of managers. On the basis of a scientifically based measurement of inter- and intrapersonal competence, the basic elements of the EQ are systematically developed and trained in the truest sense. The participants can apply these “techniques” directly in their everyday life and thus improve their leadership immediately.


Nature is complex. It has a multitude of systems that are unpredictable in their behaviour and do not seem to be governed by the established deterministic laws of classical physics. Chaos theory explains the diversity we observe in nature and also in economic systems.

Complex are the challenges of the VUCA world. And so is the transformation to greater sustainability. The additional dynamics of the subject means that in many respects it is an iterative process of straying forward before moving on to the level of concrete action.
